A friend suggested these to me as an easy alternative to tinting with paint. Out of the box, I noticed that the pieces were quite a bit larger than the actual tail light, and that I had to shape the film around the bracket at the top. This wasn't a big deal, but just not what I expected. I followed the exact directions, and began application. As the instructions say, make sure to use plenty of water on the light to keep the film workable. This wasn't the case. The adhesive was so strong that the film was deformed when I tried taking it back off, so they looked terrible when reapplying. Also, I used the plastic applicator that came with the kit, and it scratched the surface all up. Again I made sure that the front of the film was completely covered with water. Two hours later, the film, and my money, ended up in the garbage.

Just the right tint
TC from Mount Vernon, I
Now my taillights match the Crystal Red Metallic color of my car. The 12 degree tint was perfect. One helpfull hint, removing the taillights for installation makes for an easyer install.
