Few automobile brands are as beloved by and connected with their customers than Mini. Founded in Britain in 1959 by the British Motor Corporation, Mini quickly became popular among European city dwellers. The brand became an icon in the 1960s and new variations such as the Mini Pick up were created. In 1994,BMW purchased the brand and returned it to the United States in 2002 with the launch of the popular Cooper model. Building off of its success, Mini now offers many different Cooper variations such a convertible and wagon.
