My insights August 28, 2017
Reviewer: Dr1
For my application this was perfect. I recently installed a welded half cage into my BMW 135i and was looking for protection when loading my gear and for protection against the factory 3 point belts from banging on the bars (still use the car for weekend cruises). This kit was enough to cover a couple feet of the 3 cage bars in the trunk area, uprights where the factory 3 points are, plus the entire harness and diagonal bar. For my application this wrap covered about 80% of the circumference of my 1.75" OD cage. For the areas were I zip tied padding, I covered the exposed area (the 20% not covered by the wrap) with a small strip of the "soft" side of Velcro to prevent the zip ties chaffing against the paint. In retrospect I would have saved some laminex scraps to cover this area.
