Unfortunate Results July 9, 2018
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
2005 Acura TL

I spent about 1.5 hours watching  videos and researching installation techniques. I followed the paper instructions (provided with the kit) exactly, but my results were sub par.

My lenses were blotchy and hazy. I let the headlights sit for a few days, figuring the haziness might disperse. However, it did not.

Additionally, I made sure to use the provided squeegee that came with the kit. I used plenty of water, making sure not to scratch the protective film. Regardless, it didn't work and the first headlight I worked on had micro scratches all over. I recommend using a felt-tipped applicator. That seemed to work better, leaving no scratches on my second lens.

I did remove the protective film and they left an extremely sticky residue all over each lens (which is to be expected). I had to spend about 30 min on each lens with bug & tar remover to remove the residue.

I'm sure my experience is isolated, but I did want to give an honest review.
